Policy on the Use of Artificial Intelligence

In accordance with COPE guidelines, artificial intelligence tools (such as Large Language Models – LLMs) do not meet the criteria for authorship and cannot be listed as co-authors of a manuscript. Authors may utilize AI tools solely to improve the language or readability of the text, provided they maintain full accountability for the content and originality of the work. If AI technologies are used for data generation, statistical analysis, or creation of graphical elements, Authors are strictly required to disclose this fact transparently in the “Methodology” section or in a dedicated statement submitted with the manuscript (specifying the tool’s name, version, and purpose of use). Any attempt to conceal the generation of key sections of the text by AI will be treated as publication misconduct and may result in the immediate rejection of the manuscript at any stage of the editorial process.
